Gymnastics

We didn't give Brandt any options. He enjoyed gymnastics so much over the winter, and he is such a creature of habit, that we felt he would enjoy it again through the Spring.

Look at his adeptness at crawling across those bars.

And his strength in swinging . . .

Grace you ask? Did I mention his skill with climbing and his strength? ;)

Brandt really looked forward to gymnastics. I think his favorite part was getting the two stamps on his hands for listening and following directions in class. I wish I had a picture of his face when he comes running to show them to me. But he does everything with so much enthusiasm, I'm sure you can imagine!

He has one class left, and I'm sure he'll be sad when they're done.

Tennis Lessons

We gave London the choice of playing soccer, t-ball, or tennis this Spring. He chose tennis.

This is London with his tennis instructor.

Look at him patiently waiting to run drills. This class worked a lot on general coordination skills since most of the kids could barely connect the racket with the ball, let alone control where the ball (or the racket) went.

And here he is, practicing catching a ball with a cone. Future Federer, right here. ;)

And Brandt, of course, had to get in on the action. :)

One class left. Rick and I are both curious to see if he decides to continue. He's already told us that next time he wants to play soccer. Is this the end of tennis for London? Tune in next season, to find out the answer to this and other questions.
